Dezeen Showroom: Seiton is a modular storage system designed by OEO Studio for Stellar Works that can double as a partition and be built in various configurations.

The versatile system is intended for use in both domestic and commercial interiors and can be built with varying heights and widths for use as a cabinet, shelving unit or freestanding room divider.

Seiton is made as an easy-to-assemble, flat-pack kit and offers a pared-back yet industrial finish, composed of walnut and oak wood shelves, a powder-coated steel frame and polished brass feet.

The system is the latest design developed by Danish company OEO Studio in its ongoing collaboration with Stellar Works, with whom it has worked since 2012.

"This year OEO Studio presents Seiton, a new versatile modular storage system that can be adapted to form high and low shelving and cabinet options," said Shanghai furniture brand Stellar Works.

"It can also be configured as a freestanding room divider and comes in an easy-to-assemble flat pack," it continued. "Seiton is a functional piece."

Seiton is one of multiple Stellar Works collections launching throughout 2020, which the company has developed with both new and existing collaborators.
