Dezeen Showroom: furniture brand Tylko has added three new contemporary hues to its Type02 range of customisable storage units, which includes bookshelves arranged into staggered patterns.

The Type02 storage range includes bookcases, sideboards, TV stands, chests of drawers, vinyl storage, and shoe racks, all highly customisable through an online configurator.

Tylko's goal with the Type02 was to encourage self-expression and playfulness, and the tool allows customers to adjust elements of the storage units in detail, down to its height, width, and the placement of shelves, doors and drawers.

Tylko's new colour additions – Burgundy Red, Sky Blue and Cotton Beige – are designed to fit with contemporary interior design trends.

The new hues are available on all Type02 products and join the existing palette of Midnight Blue and Sand, Midnight Blue, Terracotta, Matte Black and White.

Tylko's furniture can be customised via its proprietary Tylko AR app, an intuitive online configurator in which users can customise furniture to suit any interior setting.
