Dezeen x Carl Hansen & Søn talk: Crafting a Circular Future

Dezeen has teamed up with Danish furniture brand Carl Hansen & Søn for a talk about designing products for a circular economy.

Dezeen's US editor Ben Dreith will moderate a discussion between Carl Hansen & Søn head of product development Mads Holm Rabjerg, Rafify co-founder David Rosenwasser and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) sustainability lead Sigal Shemesh.

Titled Crafting a Circular Future, the talk will explore themes including the use of reclaimed materials in furniture design, adaptive reuse and the impacts of new corporate sustainability rules.

Dezeen x Moroso talk and drinks

Dezeen and Moroso are hosting a talk and drinks to coincide with the launch of new collections from the Italian design brand.

Dezeen's editorial director Max Fraser will host a conversation with Patrizia Moroso and designers Zanellato/Bortotto, discussing the craftsmanship and manufacturing process used to create the Mangiafuoco collection.

Dezeen x Davide Groppi, Meridiani and Gervasoni party

Dezeen and the Dexelance group, comprised of Italian design brands Davide Groppi, Meridiani and Gervasoni, are hosting a party at the group's newly opened flagship location in New York.

There will be installations and presentations from each brand, including an exhibition by Davide Groppi, the grand opening of Gervasoni and a showcase of new fabrics by Meridiani. The party will feature DJs, drinks and food throughout the evening.

Dezeen x Haute Living talk: Fresh Perspectives

Dezeen has teamed up with design showroom Haute Living for a talk titled Fresh Perspectives with Louise and Emil Roe of Copenhagen design brand Louise Roe and Gil Muller and Louise Rigano of London-based Shore Studio.

Led by Dezeen's co-CEO Benedict Hobson, the talk addresses topics such as tradition versus innovation, use of materials and entrepreneurship in the industry.

Alongside talks, visitors can explore Louise Roe and Shore Studio's latest projects, while enjoying music from a live DJ, small bites and refreshments.

Dezeen x ICFF talk: Look Book Live

Dezeen has teamed up with ICFF to moderate a talk with North American design showcase Look Book. Launched in 2018 by Wanted, Look Book connects high-end North American studios, makers and entrepreneurs with architects and interior designers.

Led by Dezeen US editor Dreith, the event will take place on the ICFF main stage at the Javits Convention Center in New York and will feature a discussion on constructing and deconstructing designs in a circular design economy.

Dezeen x The New Standard breakfast talk: Design Studio 2034

Join us for breakfast with The New Standard – a creative collective comprising renowned design studios Universal Design Studio, Map Project Office and Made Thought – for a talk that asks: what shape should today’s design studios take?

Dezeen’s Co-CEO Benedict Hobson will chair a discussion with Satoshi Isono, creative director at Universal Design Studio NY, Emilie Robinson, creative director at Map Project Office, and Matt Delbridge, creative director at Made Thought, to discuss how the current global landscape is calling for a new era of creativity and what this means for design studios today.

Dezeen is co-hosting a party with Japanese homeware brand Muji to mark the end of the festival at Muji's Hudson Yards location.

Starting at 5:00pm, the event will mark the end of the festival, which features the second US iteration of MUJI IS, an installation with a focus on the brand's minimalist packaging and concise phrases.
