Benedict is chief content officer and a director at Dezeen. He is responsible for coordinating Dezeen's editorial, video and social media output, as well as spearheading Dezeen's digital development strategy.
Ben graduated from the University of Sussex with a first-class English Literature degree in 2009. He joined Dezeen in 2011, after spending two years working for a London architecture firm.
In 2012, he was promoted to lead Dezeen's in-house creative studio, which produces all the online magazine's original video content and delivers projects as diverse as print publications, exhibitions, talks and events for prestigious clients around the world.
Dezeen Studio won a host of awards under his leadership, including beating media giants the Guardian, CNN and Google to a prestigious Webby Award in 2015. In 2017, his team came ahead of Vice, GQ and The Late Late Show to win an AOP Digital Publishing Award for best use of video.
Ben became a director of Dezeen in 2015 and took on the position of chief content officer in 2018.
