New York-based architecture studio Diller Scofidio + Renfro hosts an exhibition at Rome’s MAXXI – the National Museum of 21st Century Arts examining how movement could become an important architectural property.
Restless Architecture explores how buildings could change shape to welcome visitors, change configuration or have mobile elements. The exhibition also delves into how mobility could help buildings relocate to avoid demolition.
Restless Architecture by Diller Scofidio + Renfro takes place from 25 October 2024 to 16 March 2025 at MAXXI – the National Museum of 21st Century Arts in Rome, Italy.
