Interior Design at Cascais School of Arts and Design
The Interior Design course at Cascais School of Arts and Design encourages students to integrate sustainability and functionality into their creative practices.
School: Cascais School of Arts and Design
Course: Interior Design (English)
Location: Cascais, Portugal, with online and in-person options available
Course dates: March 2025 or October 2025 (nine months duration)
Application deadline: 5 March or 30 September (two intakes)
The interior designers we teach at the Cascais School of Arts and Design are more than just passionate about aesthetics.
They are professionals who gather knowledge and techniques from diverse areas. They do not limit themselves to space organisation, or merely filling spaces with beautiful objects.
Our students connect the aesthetic, functional, constructive, legal and sustainable. The spaces where we live, learn, work, shop and socialise need to be appropriately thought about to be functional and sustainable. They must be environments that impact us in a positive way when we interact with them.
Cascais School of Arts and Design is one of the major Portuguese design and arts schools. We have students from all over the world of the most diverse ages, nationalities and backgrounds.
The school is located in Cascais, which is one of the most international cities in Portugal, renowned for its paradisiacal surf beaches and golf courses.
Cascais also has the advantage of being a short 30-minute train ride from Portugal's capital city, Lisbon. This makes it an ideal location for students to focus on their studies and enjoy the gorgeous landscapes, as well as benefit from Lisbon's infrastructures, economic, social and cultural activities.
This intensive course (nine months) is taught in both Portuguese and English, at Cascais or online.
Applications to this course have now closed.
