Mingei International Museum presents Across the Spooniverse, an exhibition showcasing over 100 spoons from Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas.

The exhibition highlights the craftsmanship, traditions and symbolism behind spoons, exploring how they reflect cultural practices – from intimate family rituals to communal and celebratory preparations of food and drink.

Across the Spooniverse takes place from 12 April to 17 August 2025 at Mingei International Museum, Balboa Park, 1439 El Prado, San Diego, California 92101, USA.
