The Association for Industrial Design (ADI) presents Compasso d’Oro awards at Expo 2025 Osaka, taking place in the Auditorium of the Italy pavilion, designed by Mario Cucinella Architects.

The ceremony sees 20 Compasso d’Oro awards granted, along with 35 honourable mentions, to those who best reflect the expo's theme Designing Future Society for Our Lives, and its three core pillars: Saving Lives, Empowering Lives and Connecting Lives.

The 20 winning projects are then displayed in an exhibition at the Italian pavilion.

Compasso d’Oro features opening remarks from the general commissioner for Italy at Expo 2025 Osaka, Mario Vattani; secretary general of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE), Dimitri S. Kerkentzes; and president of ADI, Luciano Galimberti.
