Jeans Loop: Recycled Denim Architecture for Dingge

M-Seen has designed Jeans Loop for Dingge, a spatial design project centred on recycled denim materials, showcasing the regenerative potential of discarded fashion textiles in architecture.
M-Seen's recycled denim board, branded as YiXun™, breathes new life into one of the most iconic yet environmentally taxing materials in the fashion world: denim.

Despite its durability, denim's lifecycle is marked by significant water consumption, chemical usage and energy waste.

M-Seen diverts discarded denim from landfills and incinerators, transforming it into high-performance, low-carbon architectural materials.

Recycled denim boards were incorporated throughout the space, used as display counters and decorative elements, celebrating the visual richness and material memory of denim while adhering to a low-impact design ethos.

The YiXun™ boards retain the texture and resilience of the original fabric, making them suitable for furniture, interiors and art applications.

This project demonstrates M-Seen's belief that materials are not merely reusable – they are emotionally reconfigurable, transforming a commercial space into a meaningful expression of circular aesthetics and material storytelling.

This project has been shortlisted in the material innovation category of Dezeen Awards China 2025.
