Reading Mi, established in 1991, is a highly regarded chain bookstore brand under Shenzhen Friendship Book City Co. The brand name "Mi" is derived from an ancient Chinese word that signifies "exploration and seeking".
Panorama Design Group is dedicated to creating an inspiring, sensory-rich space that provides a therapeutic effect for the soul, reinforcing the irreplaceability of physical bookstores in the digital age.
The latest store, located in a new shopping mall atrium in Zhuhai, is designed to create a tranquil haven amidst a bustling environment, aligning with the brand's core identity of fostering authenticity and deep tranquillity.
The bookstore is not merely a place to purchase books; it is an immersive environment where visitors can freely explore, read, learn and relax.
Overall, the design emphasises a connection to nature and a focus on customer experience.
