Italian brands CC-Tapis and Fornasetti present a joint collection of handcrafted rugs and textile pieces at an exhibition named (META)FISICA during Milan design week 2026.

The collection reimagines archival motifs through contemporary craftsmanship, merging Fornasetti's symbolic imagery and CC-Tapis' signature material language.

As its main focus, the rug becomes a storytelling device as well as an expressive surface and collectable artisanal object.

The pieces are made from Himalayan wool, merino wool and silk, while the techniques used include hand-knotting, embroidery and hand-loom weaving.

The presentation is curated by Dan Thawley.

CC-Tapis x Fornasetti takes place from 20 to 26 April 2026 at Piazza Santo Stefano 10, 20122 Milan, Italy.
