During Milan design week 2026, Paris-based creative practice Studio Booboon presents a selection of new handcrafted furniture and lighting pieces.

Through the pieces, the studio seeks to highlight the traditional artisanal processes and pattern development that go into its design processes, as well as a new approach it calls "3D marquetry".

The collections explore materials such as unstained wood, hanji, canvas and silk, and use Ottchil, traditional Korean lacquer, for finishes.

Fragments Becoming by Studio Booboon takes place from 20 to 26 April 2026 at Spazio Miles, Via Felice Casati 29, 20124 Milan, Italy.
