Competition overview
The Data Kids Award is the world's first international data visualisation contest for children aged 7 to 12.
Today, more and more people feel anxious from the overwhelming flood of news and information.
At Data2Kids, we teach the next generation how to work with information, sort and prioritise it, build logical and analytical thinking, and develop design skills through data visualisation.
The contest intends to unite families, data analysts, professors and teachers, designers, IT professionals, kids and teens, and experts from around the globe.
Participants learn data skills for free, express creativity through workshops, charts and diagrams, and connect with industry leaders.
Every entrant will receive a certificate and be featured in the gallery and on social media. Top projects will be published in the press. Winners will also receive toys and books from brand partners.
Eligibility and judging criteria
Participants will be judged in three categories of craft, drawing and digital.
Jurors will judge these based on the following criteria:
- Creativity
- Quality of execution
- Ability to represent data
