Czech lighting brand Bomma fills Copenhagen's Court Theatre with upcycled crystal fragments in an installation for 3 Days of Design 2026.

The installation features the brand's Fragments lighting pieces, made from shards of its former pieces and refined by a master glass cutter to resemble a gemstone.

The crystal shards are then reorganised by hand into a cloud-like figure to create an ethereal lighting design.

To bring the design to life, the theatre hosts live performances every 30 minutes throughout each day of the festival, created specifically for the event and to celebrate its reopening after five years of renovations.

Bomma: Fragments of Light takes place from 10 to 12 June 2026 at Hofteatret, Christiansborg Ridebane 16, 1218 Copenhagen, Denmark.
