Summer Assembly: Earth Station is a new summer school led by global creative practitioners exploring contemporary architecture and design through workshops and discussions.

Led by architect Marf Summers, artists Becky Little, Soph Dyer and Alison Scott, designer Akiko Kobayashi and craftworker Ben Williams, the programme outlines five key themes: Material, Making, Movement, Maintenance and Myth.

The workshops and discussions assess how architecture and design can mitigate urgent global challenges through an interdisciplinary approach.

40 participants can join the summer school. Applications are open until 24 May.

Summer Assembly: Earth Station takes place from 12 to 17 July 2026 at Hospitalfield, Arbroath, Angus, DD11 2NH, Scotland.
