Industrial Design at Savannah College of Art and Design

The Industrial Design course at Savannah College of Art and Design provides students with the opportunity to work with big-name brands to expand their portfolios.

At Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), students get hands-on experience bringing their ideas to reality, carrying on the great tradition of developing world-class designers.

Past students have worked with some of the recognisable brands such as Lenovo, BMW, AT&T, Clayco, The Coca-Cola Company, Dynacraft, Fisher-Price, Ford Motor Company, Microsoft, and Hewlett-Packard, contributing to inventing practical solutions to real-world challenges.

Student projects in SCAD's award-winning industrial design program have been the recipients of prestigious Red Dot Awards, Industrial Designers Society of America's International Design Excellence Awards, and International Design Awards.

In 2024, SCAD students designed and built two innovative electric vehicle concepts, Aether and Tyr, putting Gen Z in the driver's seat of their own experience with functional designs capable of cruising down coastal highways or navigating challenging off-road terrain.
