Casalgrande Padana lists five of its tile designs on Dezeen Showroom
Dezeen Showroom: Italian tile brand Casalgrande Padana has advertised a selection of its latest tiles on Dezeen Showroom, showing the varied and expressive potential of porcelain stoneware.
Among the designs is the company's Saxum outdoor tiles, which, like the rest of the Saxum line, celebrate the beauty of natural stone.

These tiles feature elegant veining across their mineral-like surface and come in five elegant, sandy shades.
The outdoor tiles have a thickness of 20 millimetres and an anti-slip Grip surface, and can be either laid on screed for high load resistance or dry laid on sand, gravel or turf to make an instant path.

Casalgrande Padana's Essence line is another that channels the beauty of natural materials, this time honing in on larch wood with its warm character and rich grain.
These tiles have a realistic surface created through Casalgrande Padana's advanced technologies and form part of the brand's Elements collection, which brings together three complementary styles for harmoniously mix-and-matched layouts.

The Essence range comes in six shades and includes a decorative option called Essence Cannetté, combining the same wood effect with a slatted-look 3D surface.
This tile brings sophisticated layered texture into interiors and looks particularly striking on feature walls, kitchen islands and other vertical surfaces.

For even more personality, there is Imagina Abstract, a new range of decorative tiles designed to be close to works of art. Bold abstract designs feature heavily in the collection, ranging from bright pinstripe-like lines to delicate metallic inlays and large-scale murals.
The Klimt design evokes a massive painted canvas, while Inlay creates a trompe l'oeil effect with its architectural composition of angles and gradients.

The Imagina line also includes designs that put a modern twist on florals with Imagina Floral, either blowing them up to a contemporary large scale or obscuring them in mists.
Windflower features layers of delicate gold and grey leaves as if in a meadow dreamscape, while Florilege evokes classic elegance with its spread of white flowers on a black background.

Founded in 1960 and manufacturing entirely in Italy, Casalgrande Padana is known for its high-performance porcelain stoneware.
It has consistently pushed the technologies of tile manufacturing, with advances such as Bios Antibacterial, which removes up to 99.99 per cent of common household bacterial strains.
