Breccia Rosa 4D slab tile by Iris Ceramica
Dezeen Showroom: Italian manufacturer Iris Ceramica has recreated the warm elegance of an unmistakable pink Italian marble in its Breccia Rosa 4D slab tile.
Produced by its subsidiary Sapienstone, the Breccia Rosa 4D porcelain stoneware tile emulates the look of its namesake marble, which is also known as Breccia Pernice or Breccia Oniciata and is quarried around Verona.

Like the finest slabs of this type, it has an even antique pink colour with sprawling ivory veins and traces of terracotta, powder pink and grey adding depth.
Iris Ceramica manufactures the large-format tile using its 4D technology so that the colour and pattern runs throughout the body of the slab, allowing for seamless edges.

The company recommends the product for applications including worktops, cladding and surfaces, where its durability and resistance supports daily use and its velvety Cashmere finish invites touch.
"Pink is one of the most significant colours in contemporary design," said Iris Ceramica. "It has entered residential and high-end contract architecture palettes as a sign of a return to warm materials and intimate spaces."
"Breccia Rosa captures this moment, bringing a warm colour into a complex form capable of interacting with and enhancing other materials within a space."
