Raffaello’s practice redefines neglected and waste materials. This stems from the understanding that construction produces up to half of Australia’s waste, while a buildings energy footprint is largely embodied in the materials. Material reuse is an opportunity to reduce both these environmental impacts.

His projects re-contextualise ubiquitous materials allowing people to remove existing prejudices and see a worth in waste.
