Estudi Antoni Arola has created an ephemeral installation that incurs a sense of unease to question perceptions of reality.

Limbo is a work that narrates the sense, sensuality, evanescence and levity of light.

It encompasses light and almost transparent fabrics that are sifted by the control of light and surround sound, creating multiple spaces and a sense of flow. It presents as a transparent labyrinth in constant transformation, a dreamlike space, where the perception of what is real and what is not becomes secondary to lived experience.

The result is a free and changing itinerary, a suggestive environment where those taking part can contemplate the theatrical scenes, becoming disoriented and lost in order to find true meaning.

This project has been longlisted in the installation design category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
