Bruno Vermeersch has designed Looped for the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

This project was realised when architect Bruno Vermeersch was faced with the challenge to showcase 34 graduation projects without an audience, where he had to break with his own patterns, too.

"Everything is 'Looped'," adds Bruno. "Life is about circles, patterns and routines. Good ones and bad ones. Over and over again. We learn in circles. But we evolve by breaking them."

By redefining the essence of a graduation show, the design concept of Looped was born where a multidisciplinary performance broadcasted live from Amsterdam academy of Architecture to an international audience at home.

In times of hardship, Looped celebrated the next generation of spatial designers in an unprecedented way.

This project has been longlisted in the exhibition design category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
