ID AID has designed the S1 Swivel Chair, an archetypal design that makes a modern and timeless chair.

With the S1, Sven von Boetticher, founder of ID AID, takes the archetypal design of the early office chairs and reconstructs it very casually for the high demands of today.

Convenience and ease of use – ergonomic without adjustment effort – the smart swivel chair offers a unique form of movement.

The clever geometry and material composition developed by ID AID, allow for a completely new type of three-dimensional movement and ensure comfortable and healthy sitting.

This project has been longlisted in the workplace design category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
