藤本壮介于 2000 年在东京成立了自己的同名工作室。
Sou Fujimoto is the founder of Tokyo-based practice Sou Fujimoto Architects.

藤本壮介的项目涉及商业、酒店和住宅等多个领域。他目前正在为即将到来的 2025 年大阪世博会设计总体规划，担任世博会场馆设计制作人。

藤本壮介于 2014 年获得了法国蒙彼利埃 "L'Arbre Blanc" 国际竞赛一等奖。2021 年，他被选为飞驒高山大学（暂定名）的设计师。

他的著名作品包括了蛇形艺廊，NA 住宅和武藏野美术大学美术馆·图书馆等。

Fujimoto has received many awards over the years including first prize in both the 2014 International Competition for the Second Folly of Montpellier, France, and for the Design Proposal for the Oita Airport Sea Access Passenger Terminal.

He was selected as master architect for the Tsuda University Kodaira Campus Master Plan development in 2019, and as the expo site design producer in 2020 for the 2025 Japan International Exposition. He was also chosen to design the Hida Takayama University.

His notable works include the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion 2013 (2013), House NA (2011), Musashino Art University Museum & Library (2010) and House N (2008) among others.
