Uncertain Lab and Bias have created Wahuan, a 24-tile ring light.
This project is a tile ring light consisting of 24 aluminium tiles of the same shape interlocking with each other to form a complete ring.
The light source is hidden in the gaps and the light produces natural traces on the curved surface.
"[Wahuan was] mainly formed by an aluminium extrusion process, [a] surface anodized treatment," told Bias.
The exposed signal lines are intended to reemphasise the existence of the lamp as a machine, aiming to provide a contemporary aesthetic and imaginative image.
