The Certified UX, UI and Content Design course at The School of UX teaches students user experience and user interface design to create their own portfolio.
Suitable for all levels, this is a hands-on five-day course on user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.
The course covers the entire design process, from user research and behavioural psychology to content design and wireframing using Figma and Adobe XD.
It is run remotely via Zoom by professional designers with over 15 years of experience working with organisations such as Microsoft, Vogue, British Airways, Transport for London, CNN and Cambridge Analytica.
Day one covers UX design fundamentals. We'll show you how to carry out user research, map user journeys, run usability and A/B testing and track conversions.
Day two covers UI design fundamentals. You'll learn user interface design principles, how to make your UI responsive and accessible, and create a style guide.
On day three you'll learn wireframing in Figma and Adobe XD. You’ll design your own portfolio using Figma and Adobe XD, which you'll then preview and test on your mobile phone.
Day four focuses on behavioural psychology. You'll learn how to turn technological signals into psychological insights, turning these into persuasive and engaging user experiences.
Day five covers content design, including writing skills, editing skills, and digital copywriting. You'll learn tips and tricks for turning bad, boring corporate copy into something that works for users and helps with SEO.
