The Master of Urban Planning and Design gives you the technical capabilities and creative capacity to address the big challenges facing our cities. We blend communication and visual design skills with the policy and planning-based curriculum to help you develop the skills you need to work across the various areas of urban planning and design.

You’ll work in small-group studio environments, which means you’re guaranteed to work closely with our expert academics and practicing planners. You’ll work on real planning projects, allowing you to graduate with hands-on experience.

Our program is suitable for students from a diverse range of disciplines, from architecture and design, through to economics, engineering, and landscape architecture, for example.

You’ll graduate as a planner who can bring fresh perspectives to solving urban problems, and who can readily adapt to new roles in the workplace.
