This year's Asia Pacific Architecture Festival will take over venues across Brisbane with a programme of exhibitions, installations, lectures and workshops around the theme of "co-operate, co-design, co-exist".

Highlights include the festival's annual symposium, which will bring together leading voices from across the region including Maori architect Elisapeta Heta, Benjee Mendoza of Philipino practice BAAD Studio and Soanen Medal-winner Marina Tabassum from Bangladesh.

The festival line-up will explore a wide range of regional perspectives, from Indian architecture and climate change to the traditional dwellings of aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Queensland.

More experiential events include a walking tour of Brisbane's Fortitude Valley and a performance of touring theatre show Man About the House in the self-designed Sherwood home of Australian architect Gabriel Poole.

The Asia Pacific Architecture Festival takes place in venues across Queensland from 12 to 25 March 2022.
