Stockholm-based designer Nick Ross has partnered with Swedish studio Contem to create a furniture collection made from the branches of 300-year-old linden trees.

The trees – located on Kunghatt island – were planted by Sweden's King Frederick I in the 18th century and have now been used to create a series of seven pieces.

The King's Hat takes place from 4 to 5 February 2025 at Public Service Gallery, Storgatan 1, 114 44 Stockholm, Sweden.
