American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC) debuts the No.1 Common exhibition at design fair Material Matters during 3 Days of Design 2025. 

Named after an underused hardwood timber grade, the exhibition spotlights often-overlooked hardwood qualities in design and highlights the importance of thoughtful material selection in sustainable design.

The exhibition showcases the works of Andu Masebo, Daniel Schofield, Anna Maria Øfstedal Eng and Kia Utzon-Frank, each crafted by furniture maker Benchmark and following the theme "use what nature provides".
