Design brands Lawton Mull, Somerset House and Sample House are hosting LIC Design Quarter Open Doors, an inaugural event that grants access to their showrooms in Long Island City on 16 May.

Lawton Mull exhibits its new designs at 10-03 44th Avenue, while interior design gallery The Somerset House, located at 44-01 11th Street, presents its vintage design catalogue.

At 43-01 22nd Street, design material library Sample House introduces works by studios Tang Thousand and Waves and Frequencies.

The event takes place during NYCxDesign 2026, with the showrooms open by appointment only.

LIC Design Quarter: 44th Avenue Open Doors takes place from 11:00am to 2:00pm on 16 May 2026 at various locations across Long Island City, USA.
