London-based Studio Sahil presents an exhibition during London Design Festival 2026 that celebrates the origins, histories and material pairings of glass.

The culmination of eight years of glass-related research, Transforming Glass with Sand presents hand-blown glass pieces infused with sands sourced from global locations spanning Iceland, Dubai and Türkiye.

Founded by Turkish-British glassblower and industrial designer Rezzan Hasoglu, Studio Sahil is an award-winning London design studio exploring craft, intangible cultural heritage and material innovation.

Each piece is produced in the UK in collaboration with Notarianni Glass, with direct hands-on involvement from Studio Sahil, and aims to encapsulate a unique geographical landscapes.

Curatorial support provided by Nazlı Yayla and Kronospan Design Center.

Transforming Glass with Sand takes place from 12 to 20 September 2026 at Kronospan Design Centre, 73–75 Goswell Road, London EC1V 7ER.
