The forum, held in a conference centre shaped like a stone fort at the Madinat Jumeirah resort in Dubai, involved architects including Rem Koolhaas, Bernard Khoury and Nadim Karam; and designers including Marcel Wanders, Karim Rashid and Michael Young.

At the forum, commitments were made to establish a school of creativity in the Middle East; set up an Arab design association; and turn Dubai into a design capital.

they are pretty realistic designers , not every designer is

there are some good guys out there ,not every designer is a twat, not all designers enjoy the the limelight just the fun so good on them … for making things happen ,sure wanders is a decorator , that is not design , so decoration is dead , so what !

Karim Rashid has nothing to say only pink tails and lipstick. He has bought into the scam of ‘nothingness’.
All you judging Mr. Rashid try and make ten objects as good as he does. And use them too!
