Milan 09: Japanese studio Drill Design have created Paper-wood stool, which will be on show at Designersblock in Milan later this month.

The stool is made of wood-veneers laminated with alternating layers of coloured paper, resulting in a striped effect.

The layered structure consists of 40% recycled material.

Due to its knock-down construction, seat and leg components in different colourways can be interchanged.

Designersblock in Milan takes place 22-27 April.

  5. Following Cindy, DN 3 and Jermiah ‘s comments , i can say it’s may be a new trend green multi colored minimalism or delicious minimalism . Are my vocabulary and thinking correct?

  6. This may be antithetical to the idea, but colors of wood would be nice too. :)
