Dezeen has teamed up with iPhone application 29GPS to offer readers the chance to win an iPod Touch.

To enter the competition, take a photograph (or photographs) that represents your architectural inspiration and email them to submit@29gps.com with the words "Dezeen competition" in the subject line and accompanied by a caption and the photographer's name. The deadline for submission is 30 July 2009.

29GPS_Architecture is an application that can be downloaded from Apple's iTunes App Store for free. 29GPS_Architecture is GPS enabled and showcases a new find from great architecture works from around the world. Each story includes several full screen photographs and a short summary of the project.

Each editorial feature story includes a GPS embedded map function to provide location and directions and a 29GPS_Radar function that provides a color coded (red, yellow, or green) visual indicator of your proximity to the featured story work. Select stories also include, audio and/or video segments. 29GPS applications can be found through www.29gps.com

Dezeen 'Architecture Stories' Contest for 29GPS

Architecture is all around us, but for each of us there are select works that inspire and provide an emotional connection. This contest is an exercise to gather photographs taken by individuals and share their architectural inspiration with a larger audience. The submission should be to submit@29gps.com by 30 July 2009. A few lines of caption and the photographer’s name should accompany the photographs.

Photographs should be original works taken by the individual who submitted it or if submitted by a firm, the photographs should be cleared for use online by 29GPS and associated media partners. 29GPS LLC, 29HD Network and Dezeen will have the right to showcase all or any of the submissions on their media properties. Photographs submitted should be a maximum of 1MB each.

Selected photographs will be cropped to fit devices like the iPhone, so if possible submit some of the shots in 320x480 size ratio. One winner will be selected by Dezeen editor-in-chief Marcus Fairs by August 4, and the winner will be awarded an Apple iPod Touch.

Note: the judge's decision is final; no correspondence will be entered into. Details of the winner will be published here after August 4 2009 and in a future edition of our newsletter.
