The Inside Awards will showcase interiors from across the world as part of the Inside World Festival of Interiors, set to take place from 2 to 4 October at the Marina Bay Sands resort in Singapore.

Other projects that made the shortlist include Vo Trong Nghia's Vietnamese factory renovation featuring brick and bamboo and Neri&Hu's Shanghai office interior with raw concrete and angular meeting rooms.

"It's fascinating to see submissions from all over the world and how they differ from continent to continent, it makes one reconsider what is good design," said Nigel Coates, who is sitting on the judging panel for Inside 2014. "Winning projects must be of spatial interest, not just a dressing."

This year the awards features 60 nominations from 21 countries across nine different categories, and the winners will be announced during the festival in Singapore.

Nice variety of projects and styles up for the awards this year.

  • lungling

    Three projects in Vietnam.

  • EM-K | Rethink Design Studio

You’d think the architecture office in New Delhi could hang the artwork straight.

I agree, I noticed that too! I guess they were going for that look but I prefer a straighter and more organised line-up.

Most incredible architecture! I’ve seen a picture of another home with the concept of the floating steel staircase. Looks awesome!
