REM Overload is an electronic track by Newport-based produced 800xL, who takes his name from an 8-bit Atari home computer. The track features on 800xL’s new album CTRLALTDEL, which is available to buy on Bandcamp now.
Newport-based producer 800xL has sent us this sparse, stripped-down remix of a track called Tutto Bene by Italian artist Jolly Mare, which is part of a remix competition being held by record label Bad Panda Records.

This experimental electronica track by Newport producer 800xL is an unusual concoction of trippy sounds and rhythms that, in lesser hands, could easily have become an incoherent mess. In fact, 800xL manages to hold it all down with a wonderfully slow, deliberate and chilled-out bass that's worth listening to on a good pair of headphones to fully appreciate.
