Dezeen Music Project: Shake
by Blak Nite

UK artist Blak Nite, as his name suggests, specialises in exploring dark and murky sonic territories, creating music that, in his own words, sounds “as if it was found in a ditch or gutter or down a back alley.”

Shake, which is taken from Blak Nite’s Shadow Party EP, is built around a deep, rumbling bass from which fragments of vocal samples sporadically emerge.
