Numerous architecture and design schools are looking to expand their faculties. Here are six of the best roles currently available via Dezeen Jobs, including opportunities at The Cass in London, Geneva School of Art and Design and Rhode Island School of Design.
The University of Stuttgart has become well known in recent years for its ongoing series of pavilions that showcase innovative building techniques. The school's architecture and urban planning department is currently advertising for a research associate.
The Geneva School of Art and Design, known as HEAD Genève, is looking for a new head for its visual communication department. Projects from the school's past graduates include fashion accessories laced with catnip and a 3D printer that uses ink made from salamander bacteria.
There is currently an opportunity for an assistant/associate professor in design to join Rhode Island School of Design in Providence. The school's past graduates include Jacqueline Lung, who designed a pair of sunglasses using bent, welded and sanded strips of stainless steel.
Last year, students from The Cass at London Metropolitan University created pasta inspired by nipples, pocket squares and rose petals for restaurant chain Carluccio's. The school is now is looking for a lecturer in creative design to expand its a range of CPDs and short courses.
