Dezeen spoke to Dassault Systèmes vice president of design experience Anne Asensio and designers Chris Bangle and  Patrick Jouin about how technology is driving design innovation.

Hosted by Dezeen editor-in-chief Marcus Fairs, the talk titled Bridging the Gap explored how technological advances are prompting designers to create solutions to the issues facing the world.

Bangle and Jouin discussed with Fairs and Asensio how technology is allowing designers to innovate and develop products that will help create a better more sustainable future.

The talk took place at Dassault Systèmes' exhibition at Milan design week, which explored how the built environment can be designed to provide solutions to air pollution. For the installation, titled Design in the Age of Experience, they teamed up with architect Kengo Kuma, design studio Superflux and designer Daan Roosegaarde.
