Dedon, Menu and Mara showcase products on Dezeen Showroom

German outdoor furniture brand Dedon, Danish brand Menu and Italian design company Mara are among brands showcasing products on Dezeen Showroom this week.

Furniture including lighting, outdoor seating, tables and sofas have been added to Dezeen Showroom, which is an affordable space for brands to launch products and showcase their designers and projects.

KIDA hanging lounge chair by Stephen Burks for Dedon

KIDA is a swinging outdoor lounge chair created by American designer Stephen Burks for outdoor furniture brand Dedon.

The chair is composed of a lightweight aluminium frame, which is shaped into a curved, nest-like structure and wrapped in cords of colourful weather-resistant fibre.

Dala outdoor seating by Stephen Burks for Dedon

Burks has also designed a collection of outdoor seating called Dala for Dedon, including lounge chairs, club chairs and sofas.

The seating is woven from synthetic-fibre fabric strips, using artisanal craft techniques native to the Philippines. It is available in five colourways.

The Others lanterns by Stephen Burks for Dedon

Dedon has also released a series of hand-woven outdoor lights called The Others by Stephen Burks that come in 12 different sizes and variations, including pendants and floor lights with milled marble bases.

The lanterns, which can be used individually or stacked into totem-like structures, can be embellished with playful acrylic appliques in the shape of eyes.

Androgyne Dining Table by Danielle Siggerud for Menu

Norwegian architect Danielle Siggerud has updated Danish brand Menu's Androgyne collection with a large community-style dining table.

The oak table, which is available in two sizes to accommodate either eight or 10 people, is designed to be a centrepiece in residential, office or hospitality settings.

Hashira lanterns by Norm Architects for Menu

Hashira is a family of lighting including floor, table and pendant lamps designed by Danish studio Norm Architects for Menu.

Each lamp is encased by a translucent rice paper shade that creates a soft, diffused light and nods to the idea behind the lamps – to offer a Nordic take on Japanese lanterns.

Argo Libro space-saving table by Mara

Argo Libro is a large table designed to be swiftly and easily folded away for storage by Italian furniture company Mara.

The space-saving table, which is intended for conferences and meetings, is three metres long when opened up, but can be folded up to become less than 40 centimetres wide when not in use.

Luna is an organically-shaped outdoor chair designed by Charles Wilson for Australian furniture brand King in four neutral shades.

Each chair features an earth-coloured steel mesh bucket seat supported by a slender frame made from precision-welded bent steel.

Issho is a dining table by King featuring a sculptural base that can be arranged into various configurations to accommodate different seating arrangements.

The tabletop sits on plinths made from structural foam that has been moulded around a steel frame and finished in timber veneer, making them lightweight enough to adjust easily.

Australian designer Tom Fereday has expanded King's Eto collection by adding tables to cater to the growing need for workspace in home environments,

The range, which comprises desks, dining tables, coffee tables and side tables, is characterised by its minimal aesthetic. The table is composed of a slim timber veneer tabletop that sits atop powder-coated steel legs.
