The Wall Shelving system relies on tubular steel poles that attach to the walls. The shelves, which are punctured by holes on either side, then slide onto them and are secured in place with small wooden wedges.
These wedges negate the need for bolts and glues, allowing the shelves to be easily repositioned at different heights.
"Reducing every design to its most simple form, Moebe introduces the latest addition to their collection of functional products – wall shelving," said the studio.
"With the same flexibility as all Moebe designs, the new Wall Shelving lets you build as tall and wide as you like."
Each shelf has a depth of 17.5 centimetres and is made in oak with an unpainted, or black or white painted finish. The steel framework is powder-coated in black or white.
The depth of the individual shelves provides ample storage while ensuring the system can be used in small, narrow spaces like hallways.
Moebe has launched 20 predesigned configurations for the Wall Shelving system, however, users can also create custom-made solutions.
As its name suggests, the product is designed to be hung from walls, but the shelves can also be stood on the floor then secured to a wall behind them if preferred.
