Dezeen Showroom: flooring brand IVC Commercial took inspiration from architectural geometry for its Contour carpet tile collection, which is designed to be mix-and-matched.

The Contour carpet tiles come in two styles, Perspective and View, and eight colours that have been picked to easily combine with other IVC Commercial collections.

"In Perspective, biomorphic principles express the structural integrity of honeycomb, while View is a design of intersecting lines that explores geometrical projection," said IVC Commercial.

Contour pairs well with the brand's Rudiments and Art Intervention collection, which use the same colours and yarn bank.

Through mix-and-matching, the Contour tiles can be used to differentiate zones within open offices, or simply to add interest to flooring designs.

Both stain- and fade-resistant, the carpet tile is suitable for use in busy environments such as schools, universities, workplaces and public sector projects.
