Dezeen Showroom: Dutch design studio Studio Truly Truly has created the LXR16 sofa for furniture brand Leolux LX, which is made up of rounded modular elements.

Forming part of the brand's Modular Systems sofa collection, Leolux LX designed LXR16 with a deep seat and low-lying silhouette for a timeless appearance.

Elongated rounded shapes form the sofa's seat, back and armrest, which are pinned together and raised on short aluminium legs.

"This looks stunning in large interiors but is just as suitable for intimate, more compact rooms," said Leolux LX.

"With the LXR16, Studio Truly Truly restores the balance between angular and round, and hard and soft," the brand continued.

The sofa can be covered in a choice of leather or fabric upholstery and is available with additional modular elements that extend the seating space.

The sofa will be presented at this year's Orgatec trade fair in hall 10.2, stand N068 M069.
