LIXIL Global Design presents consumer-centric approach in first showreel
Promotion: LIXIL Global Design, the creative arm of Japanese product manufacturer LIXIL, has released a video that showcases the work of its award-winning design team.
The video is LIXIL Global Design's first official showreel. It provides insights into the creativity and processes of the design team and presents products that have been created for a number of brands that fall under LIXIL's portfolio, including American Standard, Grohe and INAX.
The products presented in the video include Grohe ceiling showers that combine "cutting-edge technology and minimalist design" and INAX Satis G shower toilets that integrate a range of technologies to provide "consumers with unprecedented levels of hygiene, resource-efficiency, convenience, cleanliness and comfort".
The video aims to showcase how consumer-centric thinking is central to LIXIL Global Design's process in addition to the latest technologies the team uses in the creation of its designs, such as 3D modeling and 3D metal printing.
The video was filmed in a number of LIXIL's studios including Tokyo, New York, Düsseldorf, London and Singapore, and intends to showcase how LIXIL Global Design develops relevant, purpose-driven products that solve challenges and "add tangible value to everyone's daily lives".

LIXIL creates water and housing products, including showers, faucets, toilets and kitchen products with the aim of making "better homes a reality for everyone, everywhere".
The LIXIL Global Design team is the creative arm of LIXIL and is defined by the brand as an "international forum for the exchange of ideas, technologies and insights".
The LIXIL Global Design team has won over 550 international design awards, including the Red Dot Award, Core77, Green Good Design Award, iF Design Award, Perspective Awards, Iconic Awards: Innovative Interior and Innovative Architecture and Design Plus.
