Dezeen Showroom: British bathroom brand Lusso looked to the interior design of luxury fashion houses to design its Couture range of vanity units, which also includes a beauty storage cabinet.

Designed by Lusso's CEO and founder Wayne Spriggs, the Couture collection is united by its delicate fluted cabinet doors, Italian Carrara marble countertops and brushed gold accents.

The vanity units are available in single or double basin styles, while the beauty cabinet is described by Lusso as a statement piece and features a mirrored back along with multiple drawers and shelves beyond its cabinet doors.

"The Couture Collection is heavily inspired by the interior design observed in luxury fashion houses, in particular, the style of Stuart Weitzman's Parisian branch," said Spriggs.

"I observed beautiful contrasts of marble, golden accents and textures and when I came home, I put pen to paper and began to bring the collection to life," he continued.

The Couture collection is available in a choice of two finishes — matt velvet beige or matt black — complemented with a brushed gold frame. It is designed to be completed by Lusso's wall-mounted basin taps, marble accessories and the Couture mirror.
