Dezeen Showroom: created by German sanitaryware brand Grohe, the Atrio Private Collection floor-mounted mixer is designed to add a personalised and luxurious touch to bathtubs.

Part of the highly customisable Grohe Spa Atrio Private Collection, the floor-mounted mixer holds both a spout and a slim handheld shower head, and features the collection's signature arching shape in its pared-back form.

It can be customised with a choice of cross handles, a single lever or dual levers, which can be further personalised with Caesarstone inlays.

There is also the choice of a wide range of metallic brushed or polished finishes, including the gold-coloured Cool Sunrise, which Grohe says particularly works well with dark-coloured bathrooms.

The mixer has a swivel tubular spout with a stop limiter and a mousseur to slightly foam the water, and there is an automatic bath/shower diverter as well as protection against backflow.

The Atrio Private Collection also includes basin faucets, shower mixers and other tapware, all echoing the minimal forms and enhanced finishes that Grohe says allow the range to complement many different bathroom aesthetics.
