Call for entries to the iF Design Award 2024

Promotion: global design awards organisation iF Design based in Germany is calling international brands and designers to submit their best projects to the iF Design Award 2024.

The iF Design Award encompasses nine design disciplines, including Product Design, Packaging Design, Communication Design, User Interface, Architecture, User Experience, Interior Architecture, Service Design and Professional Concept.

The award has over 82 subcategories and previous winners include a healthcare bracelet that helps people regulate their bodies, an anti-snoring pillow and a surgery-supporting robot.

The deadline for brands and designers to submit to the iF Design Award 2024 is 8 November 2023

"We see the iF Design Award as one of the most important design platforms where leading brands, start-ups, independent designers and innovative creators can showcase their work, find inspiration, and stand out from the competition," said iF International Forum Design CEO, Uwe Cremering.

The registration deadline for the 2024 Award is 8 November 2023. The final jury takes place in mid-February 2024 and the Award Night will be on 29 April 2024 in Berlin.

"From local to international, from start-ups to legacy brands, from graphic designers to architects, from entry-level to luxury – if you produce or create products, projects or services you are welcome to take part in the iF Design Award," said the organisation.

Each year the iF Jury comprises a wide range of international design experts who evaluate and feedback on entries based on five key criteria: idea, form, function, differentiation and impact.

The iF Design Award was launched 70 years ago in Germany and last year, the organisation said it received over 10,000 entries from 56 countries.

"The iF Design Award is truly one of the most prestigious and recognised design awards in the field of industrial design," said Javier Bertani, co-founder and chief of design at Unit 1 and 2023 iF Design Award Gold Winner. "From the process to the communications to the valuable third-party validation, the iF Design Award experience was seamless from start to finish."

"We are looking forward to entering again for the upcoming competition," continued Bertani.

Launched in 1953, iF Design is committed to excellence, objectivity, transparency and impact in design. The iF Design Foundation – the award's parent – is a certified nonprofit focused on design education.
