Dezeen Showroom: from glossy to stone-effect tiles, Italian manufacturer Marazzi has listed a handful of its versatile products on Dezeen Showroom.

Mystone Pietra di Sicilia tiles are made from porcelain, yet evoke the warmth and tactility of stones mined in Sicily.

Subtle striations and veining run across the tiles, recalling the natural variations found in limestone and marble.

A trio of neutral finishes are available, alongside a plethora of different size formats.

Mystone Tivoli tiles are named and designed after Tivoli stone, a travertine marble often used in the construction of ancient Roman architecture.

Regardless of size format or colour, the tiles can be used indoors or out for various purposes, from paving to cladding.

Ridged clay-coloured detailing creates visual interest in the brand's Terramater tiles, made from a combination of specialised surface glazing and porcelain stoneware for the body of the tile.

Seven colourways and two surface patterns are available: linear Ritmo and lozenge-shaped Losanga.

Marazzi used its 3D ink technology to create dramatic and realistic striations that run through its Mystone Silver Root tiles.

The brand aims for this to be indistinguishable from natural quarried stone, with the hygiene benefits of porcelain tiles.

The brand has expanded its zellige-style Lume tile collection so that it now features a 10-by-10-centimetre square tile.

Neutral and vivid colourways can be chosen from, as well as a new style tile called Dew, which subtly recalls the shape of a leaf.

Marazzi was founded in 1935 and specialises in the sourcing, design and production of tiles intended for use across residential projects, commercial settings and hospitality interiors.

The Italian brand uses longstanding design and manufacturing techniques in an effort to preserve local tile-making traditions.
