Audio interview with Clemens Weisshaar
#milanuncut: in this short audio interview, recorded as part of the #milanuncut project, Clemens Weisshaar of Kram/Weisshaar talks about the royalty payments structure in the design industry which, Weisshaar argues, are based on an out-dated industrial model.
Low percentage royalties were acceptable when products were manufactured in large volumes over long periods, he argues, but those same percentages don’t work today when products tend to have shorter production runs.
The interview was recorded by Marcus Fairs in Berlin.
