Rugs by Sonya Winner Rug Studio among 17 new products on Dezeen Showroom
Dezeen Showroom: a kaleidoscopic series of rugs that reference the work of a 20th-century French artist is among 17 new products recently listed on Dezeen Showroom.
Sonia and Sonya rug collection by Sonya Winner Rug Studio
Circular shapes made up of colourful concentric patterns characterise this series of tactile floor coverings by British brand Sonya Winner Rug Studio, which took cues from artwork by Sonia Delaunay.
A large area rug and a long, thin runner rug are included in the Sonia and Sonya rug collection, both of which help to create an eclectic and energetic atmosphere in interior spaces.
The range was recently featured on Dezeen Showroom, alongside a bench and table made from aluminium that follow a similar manufacturing technique to the process of creating Japanese kimonos. Also featured is a bright orange toilet that has a form and texture reminiscent of Brutalist architecture.

The Origata collection comprises a console table and a bench, which are both made from sheets of aluminium that have been carefully bent to resemble the garment's folds.

The Pop lighting collection also contains a floor lamp, sconce and table light, which share a common design language characterised by looping frames and cylindrical shades.
Cosmo pavilion by AMDL Circle for Ethimo
Design studio AMDL Circle worked with Italian company Ethimo on a contemporary pergola supported by teak, a wood that weathers over time when exposed to the elements.
The Cosmo pavilion is crowned by a canopy made from aluminium and polyester fabric that is uplit by integrated lighting.
Typo office chair by AMDL Circle for Mara
Italian studio AMDL Circle collaborated with furniture brand Mara on a task chair with a distinctively crinkled structure.
The Typo office chair has a gently concaved wooden seat and backrest in contrast to the rigid metal frame that has a bent silhouette.
Handcraft carpet tiles by Modulyss
Belgian flooring brand Modulyss looked to nature to inform its Handcraft range of carpet tiles.
The series includes a tile named Moss, which has a furry texture that represents the tactile qualities of moss, and a pattern called Leaf, which mimics the way leaves age over time.

Designer Marco Lavit worked with Italian outdoor furniture company Ethimo on a nest-like day bed with a cone-shaped form.
